We had our first interim presentation where we had to show 2 different rhetorical concepts. We focused developing a poster each. The feedback we got was positive and our topic and target audience was clearly communicated.
The poster is meant to encourage the imagination of children by attracting them and their parents to attend a magic show at the Hannah Playhouse. The light comes out of his hat to communicate the idea of a boy imagining himself as a magician.
Some things to consider from feedback:
- Our posters don't relate to a New Zealand context.
- Remove the text 'free tea and coffee for parents' because it doesn't contribute to the poster.
- Mention HOW to save the Hannah Playhouse
- For the 'light up their imagination' poster - maybe have another character in the hat.
- Think about if we want to go with kid or animal characters
